Bari-sax in Music

As I said earlier, I love music and I play the bari-sax. The bari-sax is the largest, commonly played saxohpone. It is known as being essential to the big band jazz band which is one of my favourites styles of music. One amzing group is the Gordon Goodwin Big Phat Band from the United States. Also, the saxophone is a Belgian invention by I believe it is Adolf Sax, and you should all be very proud of that. One song that features the bari-sax is Moanin. Here's one version done by Charles Mingus.

Anyways, I hope you find this all a little bit interesting, and you don't have to listen to the whole song. I realize it's a little bit long.

  1. Yeah I love this song !! SO Jazzy !!
    And Charles Mingus is a Contrebassist ( the best :p ) !!

So anyway , at home you have two sax ( a tenor and a bari sax ) and I understand that the bari was your first choice because I'd rather play with your bari sax too !!

And I think that I'm going to play this at now ! :D

PS: Go on my blog ^^ !!

  2. Hey man!
I've read your comment on my blog and this is my answer.
I know that a lot a kind of music talk about "life being crap and everything going wrong" but the instrumental of rock and metal are the only one's I can stand.

About the music you posted now, that's pretty nice but I couldn't listen to it during hours and hours.
